Initial costs

Blank means unknown. Enter 0 only when there is no activity. Amounts: 1000.00 or 1,000.00. A decimal comma without thousands separators also works. If known, it must reconcile with gross less costs. Do not deduct these costs again in installments.

Information needed

Two to four same-currency proposals, disbursements, costs, dates and complete payments.

Compare available funds, payments, costs and dates of financing proposals. The comparison depends on reported data and does not approve credit or replace the lender’s statement.

Method and assumptions

  1. Calculated net proceeds = gross − fees − taxes − insurance − initial services. Reported net proceeds are checked, not deducted again.
  2. Borrower perspective: disbursements positive; payments negative. Same-day flows are consolidated. Actual-day annual rate solves Σ flow/(1+r)^(days/365)=0. Monthly equivalent = (1+r)^(1/12)−1.
  3. Search r from −99.9999% to 100,000,000% annually using 2,400 log(1+r) intervals, bisection and verified residual. Multiple sign changes do not receive a unique rate; scanning does not prove an exhaustive count of tangent roots. Maximum horizon: 100 years.
  4. Fixed mode: A=P×i/[1−(1+i)^(-n)]; at i=0 use P/n. Interest rounds monthly and the last payment reconciles the balance. Up to 600 payments and 0–100% monthly interest.

Limits

  • The estimated rate is not official CET. CMN Resolution 4,881/2020 has a specific scope for individuals and micro and small businesses; floating indices have their own treatment.
  • Lender-reported CET remains separate. Future indexation is a scenario, not official CET. No proposal is ranked best by payment, sum or rate.
  • Fixed mode does not support grace, down payments or indices. Guarantees, unknown costs and conditions remain visible.
  • Money is stored as integer cents. Rates retain internal precision; display uses up to six decimals.
  • An empty field means not provided. Zero is a known value.
  • Limit per amount: 10 billion currency units; dates from 1900 to 2200. Monetary amounts with English thousands separators are normalized when leaving the field, before calculation.
  • Language does not change the currency or imply international coverage.
  • Inputs and results remain in this browser’s memory. Reloading or clearing removes the data.
